Overview
Shadow Play (2024) is a concept for an interactive light installation that invites visitors to step in and become part of the art. A moving light tower casts mesmerizing shadows onto large fabric sails, creating cascading patterns that shift and dance. Participants can control the light system, transforming from observers into artists who choreograph their own shadow performances.
The installation draws people in with its dynamic shadows, where they discover a maze of geometric fabric sails leading to a central illuminated tower. The sails capture shadows from both the light source and moving visitors, creating an ever-changing canvas of interaction. Shadow Play transforms strangers into collaborators and spaces into stages for spontaneous creativity.
